H- It's still a little early for rhubarb here - altho' I think mine may have gasped its last this past year, anyhow - so I went with a slice of banana cream! (If you can't have rhubarb...)
mm- You could always do what I did and buy a slice somewhere... Because, you know, Pie Day only comes around once a year. :-D
It was strawberry rhubarb- I even had to make a special trip to the store yesterday morning because I thought I had frozen rhubarb but I didn't. And miracle of miracles the store had fresh!
I do have some in the freezer and was going to make a pie... but there was too much shoveling of other peoples driveways to do. By the time I was finished, any pie wouldn't have gotten eaten on pie day anyhow. So I got mine as take-away and will make rhubarb hand pies this weekend.

Um, I don't think I've ever had rhubarb pie. I'm pretty sure you meant to invite me... but I didn't get the invitation either. Maybe next year?
