Why Another Blog

Both BG and SP have read my musings and said, "that should be published..."
I suspect they feel that way more because they know me and can hear my voice in the words than because of any great skill on my part. But I thought I'd go public anyhow. Several blogs out there have helped me to feel less isolated. Maybe I can give back and gain some insight while I'm at it.

There's a lot to mull over, after all. Submission can be difficult to reconcile with what you thought you knew about yourself. Fortunately, as a little bundle of contradictions, I concluded early that there's nothing inherently wrong with having many opposing aspects to your nature. It's wrangling them into a cohesive unit that's the challenge. So when I discovered my submission, I was less bothered by the nature of the additional facet than I was by the fact that it meant I had to re-arrange the entire collage yet again.

It's been worth it, though. Not only am I loving the ride, I'm much calmer and feel more centered than I have for a number of years.
SP notes that I seem much more engaged and connected to being alive.
I think it's because I feel integrated again. It's distracting when you know something is out of whack but have no idea what it is!
